Offseason guide: Miami Dolphins

Welcome to the Offseason Guide, the FA Today series that will tell you what to expect from the offseason of each of the 32 NFL franchises in 2019 and what the team needs and what it will probably do in that period.

Today with the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins

2018: Taking milk out of stone

It's hard to look at the last season of the Dolphins and say the team was successful, but if we see it in practice, it's very difficult to say otherwise. In fact the franchise had a rather limited cast and Adam Gase did a miracle with what he had at his disposal.

What ever happened?

Although Adam Gase did a lot with little, that was not the vision of the organization and the coach was sent away. For his place came Brian Flores, who was coach of linebackers and, in practice, defensive coordinator of the Patriots.

Cap Space: $ 8,378,637

Largest needs: quarterback, wide receiver, linebacker

What to expect from the free agency and the draft?

The Dolphins do not have that much money to spend on this free agency. The team will surely need to rethink their finances before next season and should bring no weight gain.

In the draft, the hope of a daring move by a quarterback is what most cheers the crowd. If you are ready for NFL preseason opening game 2019 online, you can watch Broncos vs Falcons live streaming football game on your time.

Final opinion

The Dolphins have followed seasons by making the most of the cast with Adam Gase. The coach really managed to do a very competent job ahead of the team, but now the situation has changed and you can not know how much Brian Flores will be able to handle the message. The cast has limitations and the money available and the recent draft picks do not help. It's very difficult not to make Flores have a hard way to go.
